I wanted to follow up on my previous email and make sure you saw our recent report on the 419 Dating app breach.
As a quick recap, cybersecurity researcher Jeremiah Fowler, discovered a misconfigured database affecting a dating app named 419 Dating and some others that shared the same data base. The exposed data base contained over 2.3 million records totalling over 340 GB worth of data, exposing users’ names, email addresses, passwords, geolocation, phone numbers, images (some of them sexually explicit) and more.
